Past experience with mobile languages and the genuine desire to develop world-class Android skills are the ideal fit. As part of this team you will lead our efforts to build technology that’s improving healthcare in some of the poorest and most remote environments on the planet.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our product and design teams to customise the Simprints experience for the Android platform

  • Knowledge of multithreading and memory management specific to mobile devices and caching mechanisms

Human Skills

  • Learning. You love learning new things and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Flexibility. The best tool for the job won’t always be the most familiar tool
  • Detail-oriented. You understand the importance of the small things
  • Passion. If building technology for global health sounds exciting, we want to meet you

We are looking for developers who are always looking to learn and improve. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skillset and personality to join a fast-paced, startup environment from its early days and take significant responsibility from day one. Simprints focuses on taking complex technology and making it available to some of the most challenging environments on earth, and we are looking for great engineers to help us do that.
