Design and implement strategies that enable technology to improve millions of lives.

Simprints builds cutting edge technology for some of the poorest and most challenging environments on earth. We are working at the exciting interface of biometrics, technology and international development: changing the status quo in the way NGOs and governments deliver vital services like vaccines, health care, finance, and emergency aid. Working with top partners like Google, Unicef, and the World Bank, we have designed and developed a fully integrated identification system that will reach over 4.48 million people by 2021.

We are looking for a Financial Controller with outstanding analytical skills to manage our finances and deliver insights that enable us to measure and report on strategic initiatives aligned with our business and financial plan. You are a highly-motivated, strategically-minded and dynamic individual with a capacity to stay curious and a demonstrated ability to dig into the detail, using trends and data patterns to identify opportunities for new ways of working that will drive scale, efficiency and growth. An inspiring passion for data efficiency and accuracy as well as the ability to effectively communicate will be essential.

Why work for Simprints?

  • Design and implement financial strategies that affect millions of beneficiaries.
  • Work flexible hours. More efficient late at night? Better before the sun rises? That’s fine by us. We are looking for people who get the job done, not for people who work between 9am and 5pm.

  • Fun, fast-paced Scrum culture.
  • Quarterly ‘Lego’ days where you can work on any project you want.
  • Free gym memberships and additional wellness budget.
  • Free healthy breakfast and snacks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft precise information in both presentation and written formats.
  • Interest in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business integration, analytics in a non-corporate environment

Human Skills:

  • Intellect. You have a strong ability to synthesize data sets and convert them into information that drive financial decisions.

  • Curiosity. You have a desire to think innovatively and you understand how different perspectives and data blend together to create the bigger picture and context.
  • Communication. You are able to collaborate and articulately communicate concepts, ideas and decisions effectively across many levels, and build strong interpersonal relationships with engineers, operational managers, and external stakeholders.
